Visa for Dutch overseas territories
On March 1, 2021, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands announced the introduction of visa-free entry for Ukrainian citizens. The visa-free regime applies to the Caribbean part of the Netherlands, specifically the islands of Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba. Travelers must complete an online registration in advance and receive entry confirmation.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean consists of the countries Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten, as well as the three Dutch special municipalities: Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba.
Documents required for obtaining a visa to the Dutch overseas territories
- Original passport + copy;
- Original or scanned copy of the previous/second passport, if available;
- Completed application form;
- Copy of the national ID card;
- Two photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm, 70% face coverage);
- Certificate from the place of work/study;
- Bank statement and transaction history for the last 3 months, issued in English;
- Original or copies of marriage/divorce/birth certificates of children;
- Flight reservation (yours or provided by us);
- Hotel reservation confirmation for the entire stay;
- Medical insurance;
- Documents confirming the purpose of the trip.
Important: Documents must be translated into English. The visa will be issued only in a biometric passport or the most recently issued passport.

If you are denied a visa, you will receive an official letter explaining the reasons for the refusal. You will also be informed about the possibility of appealing the decision. The refusal letter will include the details on where to send the appeal letter and the deadlines for submitting it.
